Medicine Distribution

Eeshwar child welfare foundation provide medicines which are not supplied by government and are expensive, which the cancer patient cannot afford. Every Friday, prescribed medicines are distributed to 80 to 90 cancer suffering Children. Patients who are recommended by KGMU deposit their prescription letter at the counter. One by one their names are called out as per their file number which is previously registered in KGMU and then prescribed medicine is given to them free of cost. Medicines nearly costing Rs 70000-90000 are distributed every week. Some of the medicines that we provide every week are Crocin, Clogen, Septron, Digene, Combutol, Hand wash, Mouth wash, Betadine etc.
To avoid confusion, every new patient is given a new admission number whereas, old patient continue with their old records.
